Who Are we?

Melissa is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and ACE-certified personal trainer with over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry.
She has been teaching yoga since 2018 and leading group fitness and training sessions since 2020.

Born and raised in Norfolk County, Melissa’s roots run deep in the community—and so does her love for getting people moving in it. Through On The Move Studio, she brings yoga and fitness beyond the traditional studio and into the places that make this area so special: parks, beaches, wineries, breweries, and local events.

Her classes are fun, welcoming, and designed for all levels. From laid-back, feel-good yoga flows to energizing interval and bootcamp-style workouts, Melissa’s goal is simple: to help you move your body in a way that feels good and actually enjoy it. She believes movement isn’t something you have to do—it’s something you get to do.

When she’s not teaching, you’ll find her out on the water paddle boarding or boating, or exploring the trails, beaches, and local gems that inspire the experiences she creates.
